About This Opportunity
As the VP of Product Management – Platform, you will guide the strategy, vision and execution of the Valenz Health technology platform. You’ll lead innovation across data, interoperability, reporting, analytics and AI/ML capabilities to support scalable solutions for employer groups, TPAs, providers, payers and members. You will work closely with engineering, product and commercial teams to ensure platform capabilities deliver measurable outcomes and meaningful competitive advantage.
ThingsYou’ll Do Here
- Define and execute the long‑term product vision and roadmap for the Valenz Health technology platform
- Align platform and product strategy with enterprise financial and operational goals
- Drive adoption of modern integration standards (FHIR, APIs, EDI) to enable efficient interoperability with third‑party systems
- Lead and mentor a team of product directors and managers across data services, APIs and AI/analytics
- Oversee prioritization and lifecycle management for platform components, including data ingestion, interoperability, reporting, identity and security
- Partner with engineering to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery of platform capabilities
- Work with compliance and regulatory teams to ensure HIPAA, HITRUST and other standards are met
- Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to shape, refine and prioritize the platform roadmap
- Monitor emerging healthcare technology trends (FHIR, HL7, AI, RCM automation, population health) to inform platform strategy
- Identify opportunities for data monetization, AI enablement and interoperability‑driven innovation
- Engage with external partners (EHR vendors, payers, cloud providers) to create strategic alliances
- Demonstrate deep understanding of healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7, HIPAA) and API‑driven ecosystems
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or related field, or a combination of education and experience
- 12+ years of product management experience
- 5+ years of recent senior product leadership and proven success launching and scaling B2B2C healthcare platforms (such as EHR, data exchange, analytics or digital health)
- Strong strategic thinking, communication and leadership capabilities
- Demonstrated experience driving platform innovation and leading cross‑functional product teams
A plus if you have: MBA or advanced healthcare degree.
Where You’ll Work- This is a fully remote position and we’ll provide all the necessary equipment.
