We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cyber Security Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting our organization’s networks, systems, and data from potential threats. You will develop and implement security policies, monitor for breaches, and respond to incidents. This role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, threat management, and security tools.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement security policies and procedures to protect the organization’s IT infrastructure.
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from network and security systems to detect potential threats.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Manage firewall, IDS/IPS, and other security systems to ensure the protection of networks and data.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security practices into the development lifecycle (Dev Sec Ops ).
- Respond to security incidents by investigating, containing, and mitigating breaches or attacks.
- Implement and maintain security solutions such as antivirus, endpoint protection, SIEM, and encryption tools.
- Conduct regular security audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to industry standards (ISO, GDPR, etc.).
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements.
- Train employees on security awareness and best practices to mitigate human-related risks.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR compliance.
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM (Splunk, ELK), firewalls, IDS/IPS, and antivirus solutions.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing tools (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite).
- Knowledge of cryptography and encryption standards for securing data.
- Experience in securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of network security, VPNs, firewalls, and endpoint security.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automating security tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving and incident response skills.
- Good communication skills for training and interacting with team members.

- Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+.
- Experience with forensics and incident response techniques.
- Knowledge of Dev Sec Ops practices and integrating security in the CI/CD pipeline.
