Overview: We are seeking a high-caliber Dev Ops Engineer for our Remote Care Operations, Global Services team. Working under general supervision, this role involves performing a variety of development and production operation activities, including supporting and troubleshooting production applications, planning and coordinating software deployment and testing, and developing and maintaining software tools.
The Remote Care Operations team provides a fast-paced, dynamic work environment where engineers work closely to provide remote care software services to patients and physicians. You will collaborate with other engineers across Architecture, Software Development, Product Performance, IT, Systems, and Quality teams to find new areas for improvement by applying a Dev Ops mindset to our product offerings. This role requires multidisciplinary knowledge to support innovative medical devices and components/subsystems aligned with the company's strategic plan.
Responsibilities- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Computer or Software), Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience supporting production releases.
- Good understanding of software development, releases, testing, and database management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of modern, cloud-centric architectures, microservices, software programming, networking, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
- Experience in the Medical Devices field or regulated environments.
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse environment.
- Strong communication skills at multiple organizational levels.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational, follow-up skills, and attention to detail.
