SEO Strategist

Are you an SEO leader with local SEO and franchise SEO expert looking for your next great career opportunity? We are looking for a talented international SEO Strategist (supervisory level of experience) to join our team full-time.

This is a team lead supervisory role; thus, you must be a senior SEO leader and must be able to work U.S. business time, Eastern Standard Time.

Seniority Level:Senior Level

• Create comprehensive SEO national to local strategies for franchise accounts.
• Prioritize hyper-local optimization and unique franchise challenges.
• Lead the implementation of the SEO playbook for franchise accounts.

Oversight and Mentorship:

• Mentor and guide SEO coordinators, specialists, and project managers.
• Conduct regular team meetings to align on best practices.
• Provide solutions for complex SEO challenges.

Delegation:

• Must have leadership and delegation expertise

Performance and Analysis:

• Analyze performance metrics to identify opportunities and risks.
• Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with franchise stakeholders.
• Oversee the execution of location-specific and brand-wide SEO initiatives.

Team Building:

• Mentor a team (project managers, specialists, coordinators, and interns)
• Help with methodologies and provide strategic insight to team members
• Lead weekly or biweekly 1-1 calls with direct reports
• Hold weekly meetings (when we don’t have pod or department meetings) to train or consult with team members

Qualifications:

• Must have 6+ years of experience in SEO
• Expert in GA and Google Tag Manager
• Agency digital marketing experience is a must
• Must have leadership and supervisory experience
• Franchise and multi-location SEO is a must
• Must be knowledgeable of on-site SEO and link building
• Must have done a keyword assignment
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must have knowledge of social media and how it relates to SEO
• Must have knowledge of technical SEO items
• Must have knowledge of Word Press and blogging
• Must have knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Linked In, You Tube
• Must have client-facing experience
