About the position

At Azion, we build infrastructure that empowers developers to run applications at the edge — faster, safer, and closer to users. Now, we’re looking for a UX/UI Design Specialist to define and raise the bar for developer experience across our platform.

This is a key role within our Developer Experience team, which owns the entire user-facing surface of Azion — from our Web Platform and CLI to templates, documentation, and tooling. You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Marketing to shape experiences that are not only beautiful, but purposeful and scalable.

• Define and evolve the UX/UI across our developer interfaces:
  Web Console, CLI, Templates, Docs, and more;
• Bring structure and clarity to product experiences through systems thinking, research, and execution;
• Lead by doing — from filing UX bugs and refining flows to proposing new ideas that move the business forward;
• Use AI tools as leverage to boost productivity, quality, and consistency;
• Guide product and design strategy through metrics, qualitative research, and product intuition;
• Partner cross-functionally to drive clarity, alignment, and forward motion across teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Design or equivalent professional experience;
• Proven experience collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Marketing;
• Deep experience with Figma, tokenized design systems, and design operations;
• Strong brand and UI craft; experienced in both product design and design systems;
• Comfortable with research, usability testing, and data-informed design;
• Metrics-oriented mindset — you design with KPIs in mind;
• Solid understanding of HTML and CSS fundamentals;
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience working with or designing for APIs;
• Familiarity with edge computing, cloud-native, or infrastructure platforms;
• Experience with agile methodologies;
• Public speaking or contributions to the design/dev community;
• Using AI tools to streamline design operations or enhance performance.

Flex Work Model

We offer a Flex Work model that prioritizes acculturation and collaboration.
