The Senior
AI Engineer will focus on building and optimizing AI components and pipelines for Sherpany’s products. This role involves hands‑on development, experimentation with advanced AI techniques, and close collaboration with software engineers, product managers, and data scientists to deliver practical, high‑quality AI solutions aligned with business goals.

• build and optimize AI components and pipelines for Sherpany’s products
• experiment with advanced AI techniques to deliver innovative features
• integrate AI solutions seamlessly with product and engineering teams
• ensure performance, scalability, and security in AI workflows
• work with on‑prem AI deployments and optimize infrastructure for reliability and compliance
• stay ahead of emerging AI technologies and propose improvements
• mentor junior engineers and share best practices

• 4+ years in AI/ML engineering with hands‑on experience in production environments
• strong Python skills and proficiency in AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, Tensor Flow, scikit‑learn)
• knowledge of LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks (e.g., Lang Chain, Llama Index)
• experience with on‑prem AI deployments is a strong plus.
• experience with containerization (Docker) and modern engineering practices (CI/CD, Git)
• familiarity with security best practices and compliance requirements
• experience with cloud AI platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus for future initiatives
