Are you passionate about cloud architecture and ready to drive strategic innovation in infrastructure engineering? As an Infrastructure Architect at Safety National, you'll play a critical role in defining and enabling the organization's cloud journey with a strong Dev Ops mindset. Reporting to the AVP of Infrastructure Engineering, you will lead planning and design efforts that align with enterprise goals, create and maintain reference architectures, and serve as a technical thought leader in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), configuration management, and cloud governance.

This hands‑on role allows you to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, evaluate and implement secure cloud solutions, and ensure seamless integration of infrastructure with development pipelines. You will also be involved in guiding architectural standards, enhancing security postures, and optimizing performance and cost across cloud platforms. If you thrive on strategic design, hands‑on implementation, and cross‑departmental collaboration, this is the role for you.

A Bachelor's degree in an IT‑related field (such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Cyber Security) is preferred.

• Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3 days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office, located at 1832 Schuetz Rd. Saint Louis, MO. All employees are required to submit work from home requests and follow our Work From Home policy, which will be provided to all candidates selected to interview.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in IT with a focus on Infrastructure.
• Direct hands‑on experience with tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Git Hub, and other automation technologies.
• Strong working knowledge of Azure, Dev Ops practices, and Fin Ops principles.
• Full‑stack infrastructure knowledge with emphasis on cloud deployments and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, CSF, SOX, CCPA).

• Experience with SAFe and Lean Portfolio Management.
• Strong business acumen, including strategic planning, project management, and financial analysis.
• Demonstrated success in leading cloud migration efforts and optimizing multi‑cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Okta integration for identity access and modern authentication practices.
• Ability to influence, collaborate, and communicate across departments and leadership levels.
