GEICO's PaaS organization continues to grow! We are actively seeking a Staff Engineering to help technically lead development on the BMC ITSM Helix platform, guiding technical strategy and execution of new products on the platform. Staff engineer works with the engineering staff to innovate and build new engineering solutions, improve and enhance existing solutions as well as leverage engineering solutions to solve critical operational problems.  

The ideal candidate must have a deep technical expertise of
** BMC ITSM Helix/Remedy platform**. Position Responsibilities  Qualifications  Proven experience on enterprise platforms similar to Service Now or BMC ITSM Helix/Remedy Strong knowledge of service management

Knowledge of cloud computing technologies and concepts (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, etc.) Strong knowledge of Java Script Proven  ability to demonstrate a capacity for learning technical concepts and adapting to new technologies quickly

Proficiency in Project Management and work item management tools such as Github and Azure Dev Ops Experience  6+ years coding experience6+ years Oral and Written Communication Skills Education  Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field, or equivalent work experience
