Join Ninja One as Senior Director of Platform Engineering. In this high‑impact leadership role, you’ll define and manage the Ninja One platform, shaping its evolution to deliver software at scale globally.

As a strategic, execution‑focused leader, you’ll drive the platform’s growth beyond the flagship endpoint management solution, guiding architecture, scalability, and customer experience.

Remote from the United States (CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, MD, ME, MA, NJ, NC, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, WA). Hybrid options available at Austin, TX or Tampa, FL.

• Serve as the subject‑matter expert for Cloud and Platform at Ninja One
• Collaborate with Development, Product, Sales, Marketing, IT, Compliance, and Security teams to develop and grow the Platform globally
• Contribute to market positioning strategy, architectural concepts for expansion, and resilience of the product portfolio
• Own product requirements to ensure scalable features are prioritized with Product Management
• Design and build robust services to meet Ninja One Service Level Agreements
• Lead and grow the Platform engineering team
• Govern compliance with ISO 27001, SOX, SOC‑2, NIST 800‑53 rev 5, and others
• Identify bottlenecks and drive efficiency in the SDLC process
• Manage and mitigate runaway costs in Cloud infrastructure
• Other duties as needed

• 10+ years of experience as a Dev Ops, SRE, or IT Systems Engineer within a product organization
• Extensive knowledge of CI/CD concepts, Cloud IaaS, development frameworks, and off‑the‑shelf tool integration for SaaS scaling
• 3+ years of experience in Federal or Gov Cloud environments
• Success working cross‑functionally in fast‑pace product organizations with a development‑first mindset
• Hands‑on experience leading and growing Dev Ops/SRE/IT Systems Engineering teams
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective cross‑functional collaboration
• Innovative, creative, comfortable with ambiguity and tackling new initiatives
• Strong technical knowledge and a knack for solving complex problems with simple solutions

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred

This position is NOT eligible for Visa sponsorship. Due to operational policies, hires within Chicago city limits are not possible; candidates may consider relocation outside the city proper.

Starting pay depends on location, market demands, experience, and job‑related knowledge. For California, Colorado, Maryland, New Jersey, or Washington, the salary range is $225k‑$350k per year. For New York, the range is $225k‑$350k per year.
