** OSIS is seeking a
** Network Engineer II
** to join our team and play a critical role in supporting and enhancing our network and security infrastructure. This is a
** 100% remote position**, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere while collaborating with a dynamic team that supports healthcare organizations nationwide.##
** Key Responsibilities
*** Design, implement, tune, and maintain Cisco/Fortinet networks, firewalls, and wireless systems
* Monitor resource usage and optimize performance
* Develop procedures to prevent and minimize outages
* Create and maintain configuration and support documentation
* Provide professional technical assistance to staff, administrators, vendors, and service providers
* Resolve escalated help desk requests
* Participate in on-call rotations
* Manage projects and program components to meet organizational objectives
* Administer systems and servers to ensure service availability
* Maintain multi-site network operations across private and public facilities
** Required Qualifications
*** 3+ years of experience in an IT Enterprise environment
* Strong knowledge of routing/switching and firewall configuration
* Expertise in spanning tree protocol, OSPF, IPSEC, and SSL VPNs
* Experience with network configuration and monitoring
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
* Knowledge of Microsoft AD network integration for authentication
* 3+ years of experience with routing/switching and firewall configuration
* 1+ years of healthcare industry experience
* Hands-on experience with Cisco ASA and Fortinet security hardware
* Experience building and maintaining IPSEC and SSL VPN connections
* Knowledge of switching, dynamic routing, VRFs, Nexus, MPLS, Point-to-Point Circuits, IP-SLA, and network/data security
* CCNA certification a plus
* Experience working with non-profits or healthcare organizations
