Product Engineer, Web Developer

Rocket Alumni Solutions builds interactive recognition displays for schools, universities, and organizations. In 2025, we’ll surpass 1,400 touchscreen installations — profitable and scaling rapidly.
This unique role combines product ownership with hands-on code contribution, with majority focus on product management.
As an AI-native company, we embrace AI-driven workflows to accelerate development, streamline processes, and spark innovation.
Responsibilities- Act as a liaison between Customer Success and Engineering teams.
- Take clear ownership of product direction and priorities.
- Turn rough ideas into UI wireframes.
- Keep team’s Jira aligned with product goals and realtime engineering status.
- Contribute directly to the Vue 3 front-end codebase and Playwright end-to-end testing codebase when resources are stretched.
- 5+ years in product management or engineering with shipped SaaS products.
- Expert-level knowledge of Jira and writing amazing product & technical tickets.
- Track record in early-stage or small-team environments where resource prioritization is critical.
- Able to clearly align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with Vue 3, Type Script, SCSS, Tailwind and Playwright.
- Enthusiastic about using AI tools to speed up workflows.
- Experience in EdTech, SaaS, or interactive digital signage/kiosks.
- Background in data-driven product growth, A/B testing, or analytics.
- Design chops with tools like Figma.
