• Evaluate, design, and implement robust security systems to protect information assets from cyber threats
• Develop and modify security controls to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate with various teams to integrate security and data governance into the software development life cycle
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing to enhance organizational resilience
• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability scanning, prioritizing and remediating identified vulnerabilities

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a cybersecurity engineering role, working closely with software engineering and dev/ops teams
• Experience in designing and managing layered security programs within cloud architectures
• Proficiency with technologies such as Python, Snowflake, and cloud platforms (Digital Ocean, AWS, or GCP)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with outstanding communication abilities

• Desired certifications include CCSP, CASP+, CISSP, Security+, and CEH
• Experience with modern network architectures and tools for remote workforce management
• Familiarity with a broad range of security tools and technologies, including EDR and SIEM
• Ability to remain calm under pressure in high-stakes cybersecurity situations
