This role bridges traditional WAN/system responsibilities with modern Dev Ops practices, enabling faster delivery of services while ensuring high availability, performance, and security across environments. This is a remote-based position based in Nebraska.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred, but not required with strong experience).
- Experience in scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python, Perl).
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Possess a valid driver's license and ability to travel independently.
