Director of Advanced Analytics

The Director of Advanced Analytics is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the development and execution of advanced analytics initiatives to inform business strategy and promote drive data-driven decision-making. This role will utilize advanced prescriptive analytics to be a bridge between business intelligence and data science to provide applied strategies for business stakeholders. The Director will lead a team consisting of full-time and student employee resources.
* Experience with A/B testing, experimental design, and causal inference.
* Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and data enrichment.
* Experience with data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering.
* Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
* Strong programming skills in Python or for data analysis and model building support.
* Familiarity with statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, SPSS).
* Expert proficiency in conveying data insights though visual and written form appropriate for executive audiences.
* Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) to effectively communicate findings.
* Working knowledge of cloud computing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
* Ability to leverage cloud technologies for scalable data processing and analysis.
* Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills. Passion for experimentation and innovation.
* Ability to align analytics initiatives with business objectives and drive data-driven decision-making.
* Skill in identifying and prioritizing high-impact analytics projects.
* Skill in applying analytical insights to solve real-world business problems.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
* 7+ years of experience in analytics and/or data science roles.
* Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform, Google Marketing Platform technologies and/or equivalent technologies.
* Familiarity with agile project methodologies.
