Senior Business Analyst

We are looking for experienced team players to fill the position of Senior Business Analyst and participate in our up‑and‑coming project for our client from the banking industry.

As a Senior Business Analyst, your mission will be to transfer user requirements to the team, functional design and validation of a regulatory application.

• Incorporate new information into the data hub, whether new products or new countries
• Work on financial accounting conciliation engine
• Support the different teams that consume the information from the data hub
• Work with different countries and data providers
• Define the business logic of a Big Data system to achieve project’s goals
• Act as an expert across multiple projects, guide the teams and conduct business research and/or data analysis
• Support the business and functions in assessing current state operating model and translating it into target operating models
• Gather and prepare business requirements from users
• Create test plans and closely cooperate with software developers to perform different types of testing and test validations
• Create a competitive environment to set high standards, encourage and support continual improvements within the team
• Create business requirements documentation (BRD) and functional specification documentation (FSDs)
• Use Scrum methodology and be part of a high‑performance team

• Significant business/data analysis or product management experience (software, 5+ years
  , multiple organizations)
• Worked with software development teams directly and understand the product development cycle
• Experience in SCRUM or another Agile framework
• University background oriented to finance/business
• SQL knowledge
• Knowledge of Excel at an advanced user level
• Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills
• Understanding of banking and/or financial services industry and/or shared services organizations
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills
• Very good command of English (at least B2+)
• Willingness to work 1 day in the office every 1-2 months
