This role leads and manages Security and Compliance for IT/OT high impact programs and projects, determining and guiding strategic methods to meet company initiatives.

• Lead business requirements, perform gap analysis, and identify strategies for controls and risk mitigation.
• Identify significant regulatory challenges and commercial opportunities in current and future regulatory environments.
• Advise on new consumer products and product structures for compliance with changing regulatory rules and varying political environments.
• Contribute to and lead complex aspects of NERC CIP and other Grid compliance and security reporting requirements.
• Provide guidance to cross-functional organizations on preventative measures and corrective action responses.
• Assist and advise on NERC CIP standards with the Program Manager; lead overall program deliverables and provide updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure day-to-day compliance to relevant standards and collaborate with other units (e.g., T&D, Corp. Security, Generation, Energy Procurement, Ethics and Compliance).
• Work with other organizational units to ensure efficiency of operations within the compliance program.
• Support and maintain security tools, systems, and track security patches and incidents.
• Embed security risk management practices into key business processes and mitigate security risks with business partners.

• Seven or more years of experience in information technology, information security and/or cybersecurity:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Information Technology, JD, or related field.
• Five or more years of experience implementing and managing control frameworks (COBIT, ITIL, ISO, NIST, CSF) in support of compliance and security requirements.
• Five or more years of experience leading projects/programs.
• Intermediate knowledge of electric utility operations.
• CISA/CISSP/CISM or other Governance certifications.

• Hybrid work mode: employee reports to an SCE facility for a set number of days with remote work on the remaining days. Must reside in California unless stated otherwise. Details discussed at interview; work mode can change based on business needs.
• Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered in accordance with applicable laws and ordinances.
• Position may require up to 10% travel within the SCE service territory.
• This is a NERC/CIP impacted position; successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment or background investigation prior to employment and complete required training for un-escorted access.
• Option for 9/80 Alternate Work Schedule or 40hrs/5 days per week.
• Relocation not required for this position.
