Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Splunk Developer to support a growing Cyber Risk Defense program. This role focuses on developing advanced machine learning (ML) solutions to enhance cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance across clinical systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Splunk Enterprise, Python development, and ML frameworks, with a strong understanding of UNIX-based environments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain ML models for anomaly detection and privacy risk.
- Build and support Splunk-based solutions in containerized environments (Pod Man).
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to evolve ML use cases.
- Analyze clinical workflows and data to enhance privacy and threat detection.
- Create custom Splunk applications leveraging the Splunk AI Toolkit.
- 5–10 years of experience in Splunk development (not administration).
- Strong Python development skills in UNIX environments (Red Hat, Pod Man).
- Experience with ML/AI frameworks such as Random Forest, XGBoost, Isolation Forest, Autoencoders.
- Familiarity with model tuning, interpretability tools (SHAP, LIME), and handling imbalanced datasets.
- Hands‑on experience with feature engineering, data cleaning, encoding, and model validation.
- Active Splunk Enterprise Security Certified Admin or Splunk Core Certified Consultant credential.
- Highly technical and independent; not customer‑facing.
- Able to quickly understand existing systems and improve ML models.
- Comfortable working autonomously and collaborating with technical teams.
