Overview

We are seeking a Service Now Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Support Consultant with adequate experience to ensure the stability, scalability, and reliability of our Service Now platform. This role will focus on monitoring, troubleshooting, automation, and performance optimization of the Service Now environment while applying SRE and Dev Ops best practices. The ideal professional should have a strong background in Service Now administration, UNIX/Linux, Windows Server, and cloud infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

• Monitor and maintain the health, availability, and performance of the Service Now platform
• Troubleshoot Service Now infrastructure issues, including instance performance, integrations, and database bottlenecks
• Collaborate with developers and architects to enhance system stability and optimize workflows
• Perform Service Now instance upgrades, patching, cloning, and configuration tuning
• Handle incident response and escalations to resolve Service Now-related issues efficiently; conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long-term fixes; define and maintain SLOs/SLIs to measure and improve system reliability
• Understand Service Now MID Servers and integrations with third-party systems;
  Administer UNIX/Linux, and Windows Server environments supporting Service Now;
  Automate routine administration tasks using Power Shell, Bash, Python, or Ansible

Skills You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
• Proficient experience in Service Now administration, support, or SRE roles, and Service Now ITOM (Discovery, Event Management, CMDB, Performance Analytics)
• Strong knowledge of Service Now architecture, modules, and instance management, Experience in UNIX/Linux, and Windows Server administration
• Hands-on expertise in scripting (Bash, Power Shell, Python) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Git), Proficiency in networking (DNS, Traded Credit Positions (TCP)/IP, Load Balancing, Firewalls) related to Service Now
• Understanding of Service Now upgrades, patching, and instance cloning

Skills to Help you Excel

• Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) or ITOM certifications
• Linux (RHCSA, RHCE) or Windows (MCSA, MCSE) certifications
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are a plus

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $60,000 to $86,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
