We are looking for an experienced and strategic Lead Data Engineer to oversee the design, development, and implementation of our enterprise data platform. As a technical leader, you will work across engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver scalable data solutions, while also guiding and mentoring a team of data engineers. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who wants to combine deep technical expertise with leadership and vision.

• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data pipelines and systems.
• Guide the selection and implementation of modern data stack tools (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, dbt).
• Lead the design of data models, schemas, and data governance frameworks.
• Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes.
• Mentor and coach a team of data engineers; support their technical and professional growth.
• Manage task allocation, sprint planning, and delivery for the data engineering team.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data accessibility and usability.
• Lead technical discussions, solution design, and architecture reviews.
• Ensure data systems are reliable, monitored, and fault-tolerant.
• Oversee performance tuning, cost optimization, and scaling of data infrastructure.
• Implement CI/CD, data testing, and deployment pipelines for data code.
• Champion data privacy, security, and compliance initiatives (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2).

Skill Requirement:

Must-Have:

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Expertise in SQL, Python
  , and distributed data frameworks (e.g.,
  Apache Spark, Flink, Kafka
  ).
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native data tools.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing, lake house architecture, and governance.
• Experience managing or mentoring a technical team.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with tools such as Airflow, dbt, Terraform, or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of real-time data processing and streaming platforms.
• Familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
