SAP ABAP Developer

Description York is hiring SAP ABAP Developer in contract and onsite capacity.

Rate: $65-$75.00 an hr (DOE)

• At least 5 years of related progressive professional experience. Must possess experience in:
• Participating in requirements gathering
• Providing technical solutions by mapping business requirements and addressing Development, Incidents, and Change Requests
• Development of programs using ABAP object-oriented programming (OOP) for SAP functional areas, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (R2R) and Order-to-Cash (OTC)
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues and/or identify support requirements
• Employ Classic Dialog Programming, Object Oriented Programming, Web Dynpro for ABAP, APIS, BAPIs, Data Dictionary, ALV, EDI/IDOCs, Proxies, Workflow, Adobe Forms, BDC/Call Transaction, User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Spots

• Currently on ECC 5.0 but will give the resources opportunities to work on S4 HANA 2020
• Work with business analysts, and/or technical leads to ensure project plans are accurate with detailed design and development activities.
• Participate in requirement gatherings with Business team and Functional team for New Change Requests and requirements.
• Providing the technical solution by mapping the business requirement to meet them and addressing Development, Incidents, and Change Requests.
• ABAP programming for SAP functional areas, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (R2R) and Order-to-Cash (OTC)
• Meet with customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues and/or identify support requirements.
• Maintain positive and cooperative communication and collaboration at all levels with employees, business analysts, customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Employ Classic Dialog Programming, Object Oriented Programming, Web Dynpro for ABAP, APIS, BAPIs, Data Dictionary, ALV, EDI/IDOCs, Proxies, Workflow, Adobe Forms, BDC/Call Transaction, User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Spots.
