OverviewRole: Business Analyst – US Financial Services & Retirement Planning
Location: REMOTE
Experience: 7–10 years in business analysis, with proven expertise in US financial services and retirement planning
Engagement Type: Contract/FTE
Role OverviewThe Business Analyst will act as a bridge between stakeholders and delivery teams for a key customer in the US retirement space. This role focuses on requirements gathering, business analysis, and solution validation
, ensuring client needs are accurately captured and effectively delivered by offshore teams.
- Engage with onshore stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
- Deep dive into US retirement products (401(k), 403(b), IRA, pensions, annuities) and related financial processes.
- Develop business process models, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure requirements traceability and delivery quality.
- Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and feasibility studies for new features and integrations.
- Ensure compliance with US financial regulations (ERISA, IRS, SEC, DOL).
- Support UAT planning and execution, coordinating with client stakeholders.
- 7–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services/retirement planning.
- Strong understanding of US retirement services (401(k), pensions, IRAs, annuities, wealth management).
- Proven expertise in creating BRDs, FRDs, and Agile user stories.
- Familiarity with financial data models, compliance frameworks, and reporting standards.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to work across onshore/offshore teams.
- Experience in Agile delivery models (POD‑based structures).
- Experience with digital platforms for financial services (portals, mobile apps).
- Knowledge of workflow automation, RPA, or AI/ML use cases in finance.
- Prior exposure to US retirement plan administrators, record‑keepers, or carriers.
