Service Consultant - Total Lab Automation - Remote
Siemens Healthineers invites applications for the Service Consultant - Total Lab Automation role, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to global automation solutions.
Responsibilities- Provide expert‑level service and support to Regional Units, focusing on problem management and complex incident management of issues escalated by the Regional Support Organization (RSO).
- Manage and track service escalations to determine non‑conformance and ensure proper processes are used for solution generation.
- Create and present data or information to drive business decisions and enhance or resolve product problems identified through the complaint process.
- Conduct technical meetings, host global conference calls, and present webinars to technical experts via remote conferencing.
- Develop and review product support troubleshooting documentation (internal and external).
- Efficiently troubleshoot system‑level issues, including hardware, software, firmware, motor control (drives), pneumatics system, CAN/TCIP, and control panels.
- Collaborate directly with in‑house R&D and OEM service to ensure solutions meet service and end‑user needs.
- Use proactive tools or data sets to target accounts for remedial action, working cross‑functionally to formulate and implement action plans.
- Other responsibilities as required.
- Minimum 2‑year degree in a technical discipline;
Engineering preferred. - +5 years of experience in engineering or support discipline; healthcare diagnostics preferred.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Experience with automation systems is a plus.
- 10‑30% travel may be required.
- Strong data analytics skills for presentation and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Notepad++, SQL, graphing, pivot tables.
- Team participation and leadership skills.
- Strong customer service and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize concurrent activities.
Base Pay Range:
Min $107,060 – Max $160,600 (may vary by geography, skills, education, experience).
This is a fully remote position.
Vendor CredentialingPosition requires full access to Siemens Healthineers client sites, meeting all vendor credentialing requirements including valid , background checks, drug screen, immunizations, TB testing, and healthcare training.
