Role OverviewWe’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic IT Support Specialist to serve as the front line of technical support for our US team. This hybrid role is located in either Teaneck, NJ or Burlington, VT, reporting to the Manager of IT. Rare domestic travel to other company locations may be required.
Responsibilities- Serve as primary point of contact for the US team via Jira Service Management, Slack, and in‑person.
- Troubleshoot hardware, macOS, networking, and core business applications.
- Proactively manage the support request queue, ensuring clear documentation and timely ticket resolution.
- Administer and maintain core SaaS and infrastructure tools:
- Google Workspace – user/group management, security configuration, and service health.
- Jamf – macOS device management (MDM), policy deployment, and compliance monitoring.
- Okta – IAM, SSO, and MFA support.
- Jira – ticket workflows, custom fields, and IT operations optimization.
- Execute onboarding and offboarding processes, including device provisioning and access permissions.
- Manage IT hardware inventory, replacements, and procurement logistics.
- Maintain accurate asset tracking and documentation for all company hardware and software.
- Develop and maintain internal IT documentation and training to enhance user self‑sufficiency.
- Analyze recurring issues to recommend scalable process improvements.
- Provide project‑based or overflow support to international IT teams as needed.
- 2+ years of experience in a dedicated IT support or help desk role.
- Proven ability to support macOS environments at a scale of ~100+ users.
- Strong familiarity with MDM tools (e.g., Jamf, Kandji, Intune, Jump Cloud).
- Experience with SSO/MFA services (e.g., Okta, Entra , Jump Cloud).
- Experience with cloud mail/collaboration platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365).
- Working knowledge of ticketing systems such as Jira Service Management.
- Strong understanding of end‑user networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi).
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with empathy, patience, and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical users.
- Highly organized, proactive work style with ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- High level of accountability and work ethics.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel domestically by plane.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and perform extensive computer work.
- Ability to work from a home office when needed.
- Regular reliable attendance and punctuality essential.
- Must be located in or near Teaneck, NJ or Burlington, VT.
- Annual base salary 60,000–65,000 USD, variable earning potential 54,000 USD.
