This role is based in Denver, CO.
✨ What You’ll Do- Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring availability, scalability, and security of all environments.
- Implement and monitor backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes to protect critical systems and data.
- Configure, monitor, and optimize AWS services (e.g., EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Cloud Watch) to improve performance and cost efficiency.
- Automate routine tasks and deployments using tools such as AWS CLI, Cloud Formation, or Terraform.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve issues to minimize downtime and service disruptions.
- Enforce best practices in cloud security, including IAM role management, data encryption, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with developers, Dev Ops, and IT teams to support application deployments and infrastructure needs.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of cloud environments, configurations, and procedures.
- 5+ years of experience administering and supporting AWS cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, ECS, RDS, VPC, IAM, Cloud Watch, and Cloud Formation.
- Experience with automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform, Ansible, or AWS Cloud Formation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Power Shell) for automation and system administration tasks.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, load balancing, firewalls, routing).
- Hands‑on experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops workflows in collaboration with development teams.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and making recommendations or changes to optimize the cloud environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills with a focus on minimizing downtime.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Sys Ops Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English, with the ability to work cross‑functionally with IT, Dev Ops, and development teams and with a focus on clarity, collaboration, and customer service.

- Strong understanding of cloud cost management, including budget allocation and usage tracking across departments, to ensure transparency and financial accountability.
- Experience managing hybrid or multi‑cloud environments (e.g., AWS with Azure or GCP).
- Advanced AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty, AWS Certified Security Specialty).
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or other containerization/orchestration platforms.
- Experience with security best practices for cloud environments, including identity management, encryption, and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Exposure to serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway).
- Practical knowledge of working with APIs, including integration into enterprise applications such as chat or collaboration platforms.
