Sr. Solution Architect​/Principal Consultant D365FO Project Operations and Finance

About the position

Sr. Solution Architect / Principal Consultant wanted by Velosio a Computer and Software Consulting company in Dublin, OH.

• Solution Leadership: Drive the end-to-end architecture and design of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations and Finance implementations, ensuring solutions align with enterprise requirements and business objectives.
• Architecture Oversight: Oversee the design, architecture, and implementation of D365 Finance & Operations components. Collaborate with functional and technical teams to design, test, and deploy ERP configurations and customizations. Own and manage the Solution Blueprint and roadmap.
• Assessment & Road mapping: Lead assessment initiatives, guiding teams in evaluating current systems and defining the D365 F&O ERP implementation strategy and roadmap.

  Execute projects following Velosio’s Right Path Methodology, leveraging standard templates and deliverables while enhancing the quality of documentation and client-facing assets. Partner with Project Managers to maintain project plans and work breakdown structures, bridging functional and technical stakeholders.
• System Integration: Analyze enterprise systems to design and implement complex ERP integrations, defining data flow requirements and ensuring seamless interoperability.
• Knowledge Sharing: Foster continuous communication across teams to share best practices, lessons learned, and solution insights.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and coach leads and consultants, providing guidance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
• Sales & Advisory Support: Support pre-sales efforts through demos, technical presentations, and solution design discussions. Contribute to Fast Track programs, Microsoft sessions, and marketing activities to represent solution expertise.

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Business Administration, Accounting or related field.

• 8+ years of industry experience working with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, with primary focus on Project Ops, PMA and Finance
• Minimum 8 years of experience configuring ERP finance modules, including Project Operations, PMA, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Budgeting.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in ERP solution design and development, including Power BI reporting, Gap-Fit Analysis, and authoring both Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and Integration Design Documents (IDDs).
• Minimum 5 years of experience creating ERP solution roadmaps, including developing master solution documents, conducting workshop sessions, and defining implementation strategies.
• Proven skills and background with Dynamics 365 F&O presales and demos

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: 25% travel required.
