About the RoleTorus is hiring an experiencedIT Support Engineerto join our growing team and company. The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting users in many aspects of Torus. The position will handle troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation of Torus’ internal systems.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for IT related issues or requests via email, slack or submitted ticket.
- Responsible for all aspects of an organization’s network systems including software, hardware and support.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and changes meticulously to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.
- Manage the setup, configuration, and deployment of various platforms and systems across the organization.
- Administer user access and permissions within systems and platforms, ensuring proper levels of security and data integrity.
- Respond to performance issues and service outages.
- Updates/creates system documentation which may affect multiple teams.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Network Security/ Engineering/ Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Work experience may be evaluated in place of education.
- 2+ years experience in IT Helpdesk role.
- Hands-on experience with Windows 10/11, macOS, Linux, Office 365/Google Workspace.
- Experience with Jira ITSM and Slack for ticket management.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and networks.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN).
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.

Location + TravelThis position is primarily remote with in-office work as needed with some travel. The role is Utah-based remote with on-site work as needed in our South Salt Lake Headquarters Warehouse (air-conditioned). May require occasional onsite work in our Springville R&D warehouse (air-conditioned and non air-conditioned).
Compensation$70,000 - 80,000 (

We have the flexibility to hire at different levels, which may impact the corresponding pay range.)
