The Collier Companies is seeking a Director of Technology and Innovation to join our team! This on‑site role reports to the Home Office in Gainesville, FL.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Lead comprehensive research on emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Conduct in‑depth analysis to assess the performance and impact of current and potential technology solutions.
  • Provide high‑level, actionable recommendations to improve business processes and technology adoption.
  • Oversee planning and execution of technology implementation projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Foster a culture of innovation across the organization and support the development of new ideas.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and senior management to align technology strategies with business objectives.
  • Evaluate and mitigate potential risks associated with new technologies.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Your Skills – What We’re Looking For
  • Exceptional analytical expertise and the ability to draw meaningful insights.
  • Deep knowledge of current and emerging technologies and their business applications.
  • Strategic problem‑solving skills for identifying and solving complex problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience leading and managing technology projects from inception to completion.
  • Creativity and the ability to propose innovative solutions.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams.
Base Requirements
  • Experience with AI technology is a must.
  • Preferred to hold a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technology analysis, IT support, or a related role, with a significant portion in the multi‑family housing industry.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMP) are a plus.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL) and familiarity with project management software (Jira, Trello).
