Job Summary

The Salesforce Architect leads the design, development, and deployment of complex Salesforce solutions that align with business goals and integrate with other systems. The role partners with product managers, owners, and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, sustainable technical solutions, ensuring platform integrity and performance.

Responsibilities
  • Develop architecture and design for Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to development teams during implementation.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.
  • Lead custom development, integration with external systems, and data migration projects.
  • Ensure best practices in coding, design, security, and performance.
  • Oversee the management of Salesforce environments, including development, testing, and production.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.
  • Implement unit and integration testing strategies.
  • Design and implement integrations using APIs, middleware, and other tools.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and conduct training for end‑users.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and leverage new features to improve processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and provide technical leadership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field;
    Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5–7 years of experience with Salesforce architecture, solution design, and development.
  • Full‑cyle Salesforce implementation experience.
  • Deep knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and related solutions.
  • Experience with integration tools (REST/SOAP APIs, Mule Soft).
  • Real‑estate industry experience preferred.
  • Strong data modeling, security, and best‑practice expertise.
  • Salesforce certifications:
    Sales Cloud Consultant and Service Cloud Consultant required;
    Field Service Consultant or Agentforce Specialist preferred.
  • Proven problem‑solving skills and ability to design effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide technical direction to cross‑functional teams.
  • Leadership skills to mentor development teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset.
  • Partnering ability with external consultants for Salesforce initiatives.
  • Preferred location: firm’s headquarters in Charleston, SC; remote work allowed.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
  • Capable of extended work hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Effective verbal communication in English.
  • Adequate vision for reading fine print; corrective lenses if needed.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 25 lbs and climb stairs.
  • Must be detail‑oriented, mentally alert, and type proficiently.
  • Must sustain focus amid frequent interruptions and maintain safety awareness.
