Lead Mobile Automation Tester; E-commerce

We are looking for an experienced Lead Mobile Automation Tester to lead our QA efforts across Android and iOS applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality mobile releases, and mentoring a team of automation engineers.

• Lead and mentor a team of mobile automation testers.
• Define automation strategy, tools, and processes for mobile testing (both Android & iOS).
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and Dev Ops to ensure quality is integrated into every stage of the SDLC.
• Conduct test planning, estimation, and reporting activities.
• Design and implement robust, scalable automation frameworks for mobile and web platforms.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for mobile applications using tools such as Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or similar.
• Develop automated test scripts for functional, regression, smoke, and performance testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Bitrise).
• Maintain and optimize automation scripts for stability and reliability.
• Perform end-to-end testing on Android and iOS devices/emulators.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure test coverage across multiple devices, OS versions, and screen resolutions. Participate in requirement analysis and design reviews to provide QA insights early.
• Maintain detailed test documentation including test plans, cases, and reports.
• Provide regular QA metrics and automation progress updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, processes, and best practices.

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of QA experience, with 4+ years in mobile automation testing

• Hands-on expertise with tools like Appium, Selenium, Espresso, XCUITest
  , or Detox
  .
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops, Git Lab CI, etc.)
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured) and version control systems (Git).
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and test management tools (JIRA, Test Rail, Zephyr).
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

• Experience with performance testing (e.g., JMeter).
• Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave).
• Understanding of security testing principles.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with accessibility and usability testing for mobile apps.
