Software Engineer II - SiteOps

• Define and drive adoption of processes and tools for production alerting and incident response sitewide
• Evangelize and implement strategies for faster discovery and resolution of production incidents
• Measure reliability metrics such as MTTD, MTTR, and availability, holding teams accountable for microservice metrics
• Collaborate with teams to eliminate architectural weaknesses or anti-patterns in systems
• Participate in on‑call shifts a few times a year, contributing to overall site reliability

• 2+ years of experience with full‑stack web application development
• Strong collaborative mindset and willingness to work as part of a team
• Experience navigating uncertainty and identifying pragmatic implementation options
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies and domains
• Familiarity with public cloud services, preferably AWS

• Knowledge of monitoring and observability technology, particularly Open Telemetry
• Experience working with hybrid teams across different locations
