• Serve as product counsel, collaborating with engineering, product, and security teams throughout the product lifecycle
• Provide actionable legal guidance on healthcare regulatory compliance, privacy, and compliance matters
• Advise on FDA, FTC, and fraud and abuse laws while ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams
• Support privacy impact assessments and compliance risk assessments
• Monitor emerging regulations around AI and healthcare technology to advise internal stakeholders

• Minimum of 8 years of legal experience, including at least 4 years in product counseling
• Strong understanding of federal and state healthcare laws, including HIPAA and data privacy regulations
• Experience with FDA, FTC, and fraud and abuse laws
• Proven ability to communicate complex regulatory concepts in a clear manner to non-legal colleagues
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight timelines

• Expertise in intellectual property, AI, interoperability, or technology law
• Familiarity with trends in artificial intelligence, especially large language models and responsible AI principles
• Prior in-house experience at a growth-stage or healthcare technology company
