Seeking an experienced IT Vendor Management Office (VMO) Manager to lead vendor governance, contract compliance, and performance optimization across all IT suppliers. This role drives vendor strategy, maximizes service value, and ensures alignment with enterprise IT and digital transformation goals.
Responsibilities- Build and manage vendor governance frameworks, policies, and performance processes.
- Align vendor portfolios with IT roadmaps, digital initiatives, and business priorities.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, SLAs, KPIs, and compliance requirements.
- Oversee vendor risk, security, privacy, and regulatory adherence.
- Develop scorecards, dashboards, and quarterly business reviews.
- Lead cost optimization, budgeting, benchmarking, and competitive sourcing efforts.
- Act as the primary escalation point for vendor issues and performance gaps.
- Partner with procurement, legal, and IT leadership for onboarding/offboarding and lifecycle management.
- Drive automation, tool adoption, and process improvements; VMS implementation experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 7+ years in IT vendor management, procurement, or supplier governance.
- Expertise with VMS platforms (Coupa or similar) and IT service delivery models. 1>
Strong negotiation, financial, and vendor performance management skills. - Knowledge of GDPR, SOC, ISO, and other compliance frameworks.
