Description:

We are seeking a Sr. Data Scientist for a prestigious client. The role involves acting as the technical lead for analytics projects, solving problems of low to medium complexity or business impact.

The responsibilities include applying quantitative techniques to optimize operations, identify cost drivers, recommend suppliers, explore sales and service opportunities, and develop simulation/optimization models. The Senior Data Scientist will lead cross-functional project teams, guide technical approaches, and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical aspects of analytics projects and mentor team members.
  • Apply statistical and digital methods to solve business problems.
  • Participate in multiple projects concurrently.
  • Understand company products, services, systems, and external influences.
  • Research and implement new analytical methods.
  • Collaborate within the technical community and remove roadblocks.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, mathematics, or related field with 7-10 years of experience, OR
  • Master’s degree with 4-6 years of experience, OR
  • PhD with 1-3 years of experience.

Proficiency in MS Office, industry-standard statistics, and data visualization packages is required. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
