The salary range for this position is $69,591.89 to $ for Schedule A, and $69,591.89 to $ for Schedule
B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater. Judiciary employees hired prior to June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule A.
Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule B.

Responsibilities- Analyze and troubleshoot hardware and software problems; perform installations, configurations, and upgrades of hardware and software (including Windows 11 support).
- Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot twisted pair cabling and patch panels.
- Resolve help desk inquiries.
- Provide support for courtroom technology systems, including Zoom Rooms, evidence presentation, and Court Smart.
- Conduct research and analysis of work processes or methods.
- Consult with service providers, vendors, and contractors.
- Plan, organize, and present technical proposals.
- Provide training to vicinage staff.
- Package and transport computer equipment and devices, including lifting and moving IT-related equipment.
- Participate in projects or upgrades that may include night or weekend hours and require work outside a traditional workweek, including weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, One Drive, Active Directory/Entra, Windows 11, VoIP, and IT security is strongly preferred.
NoteApplicants are advised that this position requires regular travel to all counties in our multi‑county vicinage (Somerset, Hunterdon or Warren).
Remote WorkThe Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.
Essential FunctionRegular and predictable physical presence at the worksite is an essential function of this position.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in a field related to computer science, information technology or the area to which the applicant is applying, such as information systems, human–computer interaction, interactive media, software engineering, computer networking, business analytics, data analytics and/or cybersecurity and one year of professional experience in: analyzing, designing, programming, troubleshooting, resolving technical problems, testing, defining business requirements, training and/or installing computer systems applications or planning, acquiring, installing and implementing telecommunications facilities and services, wide area networks, or local area networks or generating and maintaining system software or business analysis which may include defining and gathering business and functional requirements, analyzing and validating data…
