Supervisor, Application Configuration –

We are seeking a dedicated supervisor to lead a team of Application Analysts and Configuration Specialists in managing and optimizing our healthcare applications.

$80,000 – $95,000 per year

• Primary location:
  Greater Madison, WI area – hybrid work with two days in office.
• Candidates outside Madison, WI may be required to travel monthly to WPS Headquarters.
• Remote candidates from WI, IL, MN or IA considered.

• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Manage workload distribution, set priorities, and monitor progress.
• Ensure accurate setup and maintenance of system configurations.
• Act as escalation point for complex configuration issues.
• Participate in system implementations, upgrades, and testing to ensure alignment.
• Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and SOPs.
• Identify opportunities for automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide regular updates on configuration activities to management.
• Promote effective communication across departments.
• Coach, mentor, and provide performance feedback to team members.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, data standards, and security protocols.
• Implement automation and efficiency improvements within processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in application configuration, system administration, or business systems analysis.
• 1+ year in a supervisory or lead role.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong understanding of system configuration principles.
• Experience with enterprise systems such as EHR, claims, or CRM.
• Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills.
• Leadership and technical expertise.

• High‑speed cable or fiber internet.
• Minimum 10 Mbps downstream and 1 Mbps upstream.
