The Role:We’re seeking a Principal Product Designer to act as the strategic design leader for our Customer division. This role reports to the Head of Product Design and collaborates closely with the VP of Card and Customer Experience, and the Head of Product.
This isn’t just a design role- you’ll be the voice of the customer
, shaping the end-to-end design of all card experiences, from the initial application to ongoing mobile and web usage. You will build and lead the user research function and influence key business outcomes for a high-growth company in a crucial new area of our business.
- Lead the Vision: Act as the strategic design partner to the VP of Cards and Head of Card Product, defining and executing a mobile-first design strategy to drive card acquisition and usage.
- Be the Customer's Voice: Build and scale the user research function within the Cards team. You'll implement systems for continuous qualitative feedback and conduct ad-hoc research to inform product strategy and roadmaps.
- Design End-to-End Experiences: Design for all card experiences, including the entire card application flow,, and all mobile and web card experiences, ensuring a seamless, responsive, and engaging design across devices.

Collaboration:
Partner closely with the Cards and Customer Experience squads. You’ll deeply understand their KPIs and success metrics, ensuring your designs are aligned with business goals and user needs.
- 7+ years of experience designing customer focused products.
- A seasoned product designer with a strong background in fintech or a similar fast-paced industry.
- A proven track record of leading end-to-end product design, from research and ideation to final execution and launch.
- The ability to act as a strategic partner, translating business goals into innovative and user-centric design solutions.
- Deep expertise inmobile-first design, with a strong understanding of what makes a great mobile experience.
- A collaborative leader who excels at building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with user research methodologies and a strong commitment to a user-centered design approach.
