What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on existing and developing privacy laws and regulations
  • Maintain expertise in privacy laws and evaluate their impact on company operations
  • Assist in the development of Data Protection and Privacy Programs, including legal documents and policies
  • Provide advice and counsel on privacy matters to stakeholders and business partners
  • Draft, review, and negotiate IT contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school and active Bar membership in the U.S.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of legal experience in data privacy, technology contracting, and digital commerce/digital marketing
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. and international privacy laws and regulations
  • Demonstrated experience in drafting and negotiating IT‑related contracts
  • Excellent oral, written, and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and data processing technologies
  • Proven ability to interpret complex legal texts and regulations
  • Strong interest in technology and its implications for privacy compliance
  • Experience advising on customer and vendor data privacy issues for international companies
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office products and ability to learn new software quickly
