Senior Security Engineer; Secret Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is hiring a Senior Security Engineer to work in a remote capacity. This individual will be responsible for performing security audits, risk analysis, vulnerability testing, and implementing technical solutions to mitigate security risks. This is a direct placement role with a primary remote work location and requires an active Secret clearance. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team in the IT space

• Perform security audits, risk analysis, application-level vulnerability testing, and security code reviews.
• Develop and implement technical solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Conduct research to identify new attack vectors.
• Support mainframe systems with scanning and other security-focused operational tasks.

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of work experience.
• Active Tier 3 Secret clearance.
• 5+ years of experience in security audits, risk analysis, vulnerability testing, and code reviews.
• 5+ years of experience developing and implementing security solutions.
• Experience working within Agile methodology.
• Proficiency with Nessus, Splunk, Dynamic Application Testing Tools, and Bitbucket.
• Experience in cloud-native architecture and container security in AWS.
• Experience working in a Kafka infrastructure (preferred).
• Ability to build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of federal security requirements.

• Salary range: $110,000 - $115,000 annually
