Join our team as a System Administrator Skill Level 3 at Onyx Point, LLC.
Requirements- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
- Experience in implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining IT systems.
- Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
- Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
- Support day‑to‑day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
- Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems, install and load operating system software, troubleshoot, and maintain integrity.
- Configure network components and implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Support the dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in the resolution process.
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization, performing system capacity analysis and planning.
- Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
- Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
- Support the design of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware.
- Possess a working knowledge of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.
- Fifteen (15) years experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Five (5) years of additional System Administrator experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
We are committed to providing fair and competitive compensation. The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $275,000 per year, adjusted based on candidate work location, specific role, skill set, and level of expertise.
