Technical Sales Engineer, Presales – Fully Remote, US-based

Join FINDIQ as a Technical Sales Engineer with focus on presales in a fully remote, US-based role. FINDIQ is a fast‑growing German scale‑up expanding in the US market and building the first AI‑powered knowledge platform for industrial machinery and equipment.

We launched in early 2022 and are growing rapidly internationally. This full‑time (40 h/week) position allows you to work from your home office with occasional customer visits or team meetings.

Your responsibilities
  • Supporting our sales team with technical expertise and guiding customers through the entire pre‑sales phase.
  • Conducting technical discovery sessions to understand customer requirements, workflows and challenges.
  • Presenting our solution in demos, workshops and webinars as well as building customer‑specific demos.
  • Validating solutions and running test phases or proof‑of‑value activities until rollout.
  • Collaborating closely with product development and customer success.
  • Supporting marketing activities such as creating materials or participating in trade shows and events.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our demo environments.
What We Expect
  • A technical background, ideally in mechanical engineering or industrial machinery service.
  • Experience in technical pre‑sales, including solution validation and test phases in the customer journey.
  • Strong ability to explain the value of software solutions and communicate benefits clearly.
  • Practical experience in or strong interest in the field of industrial machinery and equipment service.
  • Experience with or enthusiasm for working in a tech startup.
  • Willingness to travel for customer visits, workshops and industry events.
  • Excellent English skills.
