As a Senior Data Scientist at Crunchbase, you will transform our business vision into tangible features and actionable insights through data. Your contributions will influence the user experience, restructuring how users engage with our products.

• Enhance and optimize the Crunchbase insights engine, turning raw data into actionable insights
• Collaborate closely with product teams to align data‑science efforts with business objectives and user needs
• Engage in all aspects of the feature delivery cycle, from ideation to production
• Gather and refine requirements for data‑driven features with internal partners
• Develop and implement statistical and machine learning models that address user queries and business questions, such as predicting potential investors in a given company
• Stay current with advancements in data science and machine learning to improve model accuracy and relevance
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand business problems and provide data‑driven solutions
• Prioritize AI initiatives cross‑functionally with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams
• actively engage in AI experimentation to drive innovation and efficiency
• Communicate complex findings and insights to technical and non‑technical audiences in a clear manner

• 4+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on developing and deploying machine learning models
• Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex issues for effective collaboration
• Proven ability to understand products and deliver impactful features to drive business success
• Hands‑on experience and expertise in Python coding
• Familiarity with analytics and big‑data tools such as R, SQL, and others
• Passion for identifying patterns in data, showcasing strong analytical skills
• Proficient with Google Office Suite or related software
• Ideally, experience with recommendation systems and/or time‑series analysis
