My client is a fast‑growing fintech innovator powering the next generation of crypto and Web3 companies. Our technology enables digital asset businesses—exchanges, wallets, layer‑1s, DeFi platforms, and institutional trading firms—to operate securely, efficiently, and at scale.

As demand accelerates globally, we are expanding our commercial team and looking for a dynamic Business Development Director to drive growth and deepen our footprint within the crypto ecosystem.

The Role

You will own end‑to‑end growth across a portfolio of high‑value crypto clients. This includes identifying new opportunities, engaging C‑level decision‑makers, and closing strategic deals with exchanges, protocols, infrastructure providers, and institutional digital asset players.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast‑moving, emerging markets and is deeply connected within the crypto and Web3 landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy across key segments of the crypto industry
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to contract negotiation and close
  • Build strong relationships with founders, CTOs, Heads of Trading, Risk, Compliance, and Business Operations in crypto organisations
  • Identify partnership opportunities with exchanges, custodians, liquidity providers, and blockchain ecosystems
  • Represent the company at crypto conferences, networking events, and industry forums
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing to align go‑to‑market initiatives with customer needs
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and contribute to revenue planning
Experience & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Partnerships within crypto, Web3, fintech, or digital assets
  • Strong understanding of the crypto ecosystem (exchange operations, custody, blockchain infrastructure, DeFi, institutional crypto, etc.)
  • Proven track record closing high‑value deals in a technical or emerging technology environment
  • Exceptional relationship‑building skills and established network within crypto/Web3
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
