About the Team

The Workday Success Plans Team focuses on customers’ post Go‑Live journey, creating programs that help them drive business value from their Workday applications. The team delivers a variety of services, from feature demonstrations to full deployments, and partners with finance, HR, and planning to enable a seamless enterprise cloud experience.

About the Role

As a Workday expert, you will work directly with customers through targeted micro‑consulting engagements, assisting with how‑to questions, troubleshooting configuration, and providing feature demonstrations. You will act as a trusted Workday advisor, sharing your experience, highlighting standard methodologies, and identifying key considerations that enable customers to achieve their business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research to understand customer questions and related Workday concepts.
  • Deliver small‑scope consulting on customer requests, providing configuration guidance, demonstrations, and best‑practice tips.
  • Troubleshoot product configuration to resolve or recommend optimal solutions.
  • Communicate responses and value clearly and effectively to customers.
  • Create and deliver customer presentations on how to use Workday features to achieve business goals (Accelerator Webinars).
  • Provide one‑on‑one consulting guidance to accelerate customer feature adoption (Feature Accelerator).
  • Review customer tenants to identify adoption opportunities (Feature Adoption Tenant Reviews).
  • Maintain product expertise and Workday Certification(s), staying current with the Workday roadmap.
  • Keep up to date with industry practices and engage customers on those topics.
  • Help drive the creation of new programs to drive customer feature adoption.
  • Deliver other Customer Enablement services such as Office Hours, configuration reviews, one‑on‑one design, and full deployments.
Basic Qualifications (Senior)
  • 5+ years of implementation experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with Workday deployments and financials systems.
  • 3+ years of software consulting experience.

  • 1+ year of software consulting experience.
Additional Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Workday Certification, or the ability to obtain one in FDM, Record to Report, or Financial Accounting.
  • Ability to gain a thorough understanding of Workday concepts as new features are released.
  • Ability to distill complex concepts into understandable presentations for customers.
  • Ability to multitask and work concurrently on multiple engagements and deliverables.
  • Strong critical‑thinking skills to understand complex, technical process issues and influence decision‑making.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role‑specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need.

  • Additional US Locations Base Pay Range: $111,100 – $197,300 USD
  • If performed in Colorado, the pay range for this job is $116,900 – $175,400 USD based on the role’s min and max pay range for that location.
