OverviewWe are hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to drive next‑gen operations at scale, leveraging pure Python infra‑as‑code from bare metal to containers and applications. The role focuses on automating enterprise infrastructure and embracing a universal operator pattern for model‑driven operations.
Responsibilities- Architect and run Open Stack, Kubernetes, and software‑defined storage across hundreds of private cloud and public cloud clusters.
- Apply devsecops principles from bare metal to application deployments.
- Automate operations using Python and software engineering best practices, emphasizing metrics, testing, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with global, high‑pressure operations teams, ensuring mission‑critical services for world‑class customers remain reliable.
- Participate in twice‑yearly in‑person sprints and events, traveling internationally as required.
- Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
- Strong experience with Linux, Linux networking, and storage.
- Proficiency in Python software development.
- Operational experience in cloud or data‑center environments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.
- Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for company events up to two weeks long.
- Experience with Open Stack or Kubernetes deployment or operations.
- Familiarity with public or private cloud management.
- Distributed work environment with twice‑yearly in‑person team sprints.
- Personal learning and development budget of USD 2,000 per year.
