Overview

This is a remote position. We are seeking an experienced and highly technical Technical Lead / Lead Developer to spearhead our Dev Ops strategy, implementation, and team. This role requires deep hands‑on expertise across both Windows and Linux environments, significant experience with cloud platforms (specifically Azure
), and proven leadership in designing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional scripting abilities to automate complex infrastructure and development workflows.

Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure and application deployment systems.
  • Define and enforce best practices for Dev Ops
    , infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, alerting, and configuration management.
  • Mentor and guide development and operations teams on Dev Ops principles and tools.
Dev Ops Implementation & Operations
  • Design, build, and manage end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git Lab CI/CD.
  • Manage and maintain complex environments in Azure
    , ensuring optimal performance and cost‑efficiency.
  • Perform system administration and maintenance for both Windows and Linux servers (installation, configuration, patching, troubleshooting).
  • Utilize various command line utilities for system diagnostics, configuration, and automation.
Automation & Scripting (Must‑Have Extension)
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance extensive automation scripts using Python
    , Power Shell
    , and Bash to manage system configuration, deployments, and operational tasks.
  • Drive the transition from manual operations to fully automated, codified infrastructure.
Required Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in software development, infrastructure management, or Dev Ops roles, with at least 5 years in a technical leadership or lead developer capacity.
Technical Expertise (Hard Must-Haves)
  • Deep proficiency in Windows Management (Server OS, IIS, Active Directory fundamentals).
  • Expertise in Linux Administration (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS/RHEL).
  • Exceptional, proven scripting experience with Power Shell
    , Bash
    , and Python
    .
  • Hands‑on expertise with Azure cloud services (e.g., Compute, Networking, Storage, Azure Dev Ops/Pipelines).
  • Strong background implementing and managing CI/CD processes, preferably utilizing Git Lab
    .
  • Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a significant plus.
  • Proficiency with version control, specifically git
    .
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and experience handling security violations and incidents.
  • Previous experience in designing and developing microservices architectures is a plus.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, Agile development environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Leadership experience, including mentoring junior developers and guiding technical decisions.
