Job Description
  • Design, deploy and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud solutions for data and analytics workloads.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, data & analytics teams and stakeholders to implement scalable, secure, high‑availability architectures.
  • Lead Azure solution design, including compute, storage, networking, and identity & access management (Azure AD, RBAC).
  • Build and maintain network infrastructure: virtual networks, subnets, routing, NSGs, VPN gateways, Express Route, Azure Firewall, and load balancers.
  • Automate infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, Azure Resource Manager templates, Power Shell or Azure CLI.
  • Provision and manage Azure services such as Data Factory, Storage, Virtual Machines, App Service, Functions, Logic Apps, SQL Database, AKS, and AAD.
  • Establish monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting frameworks to ensure health, performance and security of Azure resources.
  • Implement security controls, compliance measures, vulnerability scans and remediate findings.
  • Design backup and disaster‑recovery strategies using Azure Backup, Site Recovery and related services.
  • Document architecture diagrams, deployment guides and SOPs; provide technical guidance to cross‑functional teams.
  • Continuously explore Azure features and industry trends to recommend improvements and new solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Extensive experience designing, implementing and managing Azure cloud solutions (AWS/GCP knowledge is a plus).
  • Proficiency with Azure compute, storage, networking, identity & access management, and network security services.
  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture patterns, scalability, high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Experience with IaC tools such as ARM templates, Power Shell, Azure CLI or Terraform.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior analysts, data product managers, architects, data engineers and clients.
