About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced AI Subject Matter Expert (SME) to act as a strategic advisor and technical leader across client-facing consulting projects.
This role is ideal for someone who combines technical depth with strong interpersonal and business acumen—someone who can help leadership teams make informed, ROI-driven decisions about AI adoption.
This is a part‑time, advisory‑focused position where you’ll provide expert guidance, participate in leadership discussions, and ensure our solutions remain ethical, secure, and effective. Occasional light technical work or prototyping may be part of the role.
Key Responsibilities- Advise leadership and clients on AI strategy, architecture, and adoption best practices
- Translate technical concepts into clear business recommendations focused on measurable ROI
- Evaluate and advise on cloud-based AI solutions (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud/Vertex AI)
- Promote ethical AI practices, ensuring compliance with data privacy and security standards
- Clarify distinctions between machine learning, predictive analytics, and large language models
- Foster collaborative, people-first leadership—guiding through empathy, not authority
- Support planning for AI-driven automation and digital transformation initiatives
- Strong technical foundation in computer science, cloud architecture, or data engineering
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with AI APIs, web application deployment, and cloud integration
- Understanding of virtual private networks, data security, and responsible AI frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to bridge business and technical perspectives
- Collaborative leadership style focused on partnership and inclusion
- Strategic thinker with an understanding of ROI-driven technology planning
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and reside within the U.S.
- Experience with Python and lightweight web frameworks (e.g., Flask, FastAPI)
- Familiarity with Service Now and its AI or automation capabilities
- Awareness of Agile methodologies, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git Hub Actions)
- Prior consulting experience in AI strategy, digital transformation, or enterprise modernization
- Fully remote (U.S. only) with flexible scheduling
