Overview
Solutions Engineer — Remote, USA (East Coast Preferred due to time difference). $120,000 Base + bonus.
The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer to play a critical role in bridging the gap between advanced technology and the needs of higher education institutions. This newly created role is part of the company’s U.S. growth strategy and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future of education.
As the first Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering creative, customized solutions that solve real-world challenges for new and existing customers. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, pre-sales expert, and technical problem-solver while working closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities Technical Expertise- Gain an in-depth understanding of the platform’s functionality, architecture, and deployment.
- Stay current with trends and technologies in the educational sector.
- Partner with sales teams to conduct discovery sessions, understand client challenges, and deliver tailored platform demonstrations.
- Provide technical guidance during the sales cycle and respond to technical inquiries.
- Collaborate with clients to design and implement solutions that meet their unique needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring seamless integration with client systems.
- Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a technical advisor and identifying opportunities to enhance their platform use.
- Contribute to the development of training materials and technical documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Educational Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Solutions Engineer or similar technical role, ideally in the EdTech.
- Strong understanding of educational technology trends and integration challenges.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
