Consulting Analyst or Associate

Role Overview

Consulting Research Associate I, II, and Consulting Research Analyst roles at Cambia Health Solutions focus on designing, testing, and enhancing corporate health‑care programs. Analysts apply analytical and statistical methods, project management, and business knowledge to research and evaluate program performance and communicate actionable insights to business partners.

• Perform complex program analyses and create visual summaries and dashboards.
• Apply state and federal regulatory knowledge to analysis and recommend actions.
• Extract, cleanse, aggregate, and process data from multiple sources, developing queries and reports.
• Work independently and as part of a team to identify business challenges and evaluate solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop business cases and understand desired outcomes.
• Complete analysis and provide recommendations for complex challenges and initiatives.
• Use data analysis tools to identify root causes and ensure appropriate recommendations.
• Prepare and present standard and ad‑hoc analyses that guide decision‑making and support results.
• Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity and decision‑making is highly desired.

• BA/BS in social science, public health, economics, statistics, actuarial science, or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred for Associate I and II;
  PhD preferred for Analyst.
• Less than 3 years related experience for Associate I; minimum 3 years for Associate II; minimum 5 years for Analyst.
• Advanced analytical skills including descriptive statistics, forecasting, predictive models, or similar.
• Experience with analytical programming tools (Alteryx, SAS, SQL, R, Tableau, etc.).
• Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally, resolve issues, and coordinate projects.
• A solid understanding of healthcare interventions to improve member experience and cost containment.

• Complex data extraction, transformation, and visualization expertise.
• Experience with data quality checking and multidimensional data integration.
• Advanced analytic skills in areas such as experimental design, inference, or predictive modeling.
• Ability to communicate analytical insights effectively to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong problem‑solving and judgment skills.
• Project coordination and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
