Requirements Analyst – 508 Compliance
Location: Washington, DC - Remote
About the Role: Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) seeks a 508 Compliance Requirements Analyst. The role evaluates and ensures all IT systems, applications, and content meet accessibility standards under Section 508. This position supports inclusive design and compliance across digital assets and is remote.
Responsibilities- Review and analyze system requirements and documentation for accessibility
- Conduct audits and assessments using Trusted Tester protocols
- Work with developers and designers to implement accessible solutions
- Document and report 508 compliance status
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and remediation activities
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience
- Associate degree and 4+ years of relevant experience
- High School diploma and 6+ years of relevant experience
- Active DHA Trusted Tester Certification
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain Public Trust Clearance
- Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
- Manage multiple efforts with time‑related constraints in a fast‑paced environment
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications and experience working in a home office setting
- Provide technical assistance and support over the phone; strong phone skills and prior customer‑service experience desirable
- Good problem‑solving skills; ability to visualize problems and think abstractly
